Happy 4th of July

Hello Hivers,
I made this card for my mother. She recently remarried (June 19th). I seen this card on SCS and loved it. I had to CASE it. The towels were embossed using the Texture Plates #4. I used the Mr. & Mrs. from the stamp set, All Holidays. The sentiment is from the set, Heard From the Heart. I used Whisper White, Real Red, and Basic Black card stock (her wedding colors). I also used the Scallop Edge punch and Silver Brads.

Happy Birthday, Human

Hello Hivers,
I made this card for my nephew. He turned 14 on June 28. I asked my son, who is the same age, if this was to kiddy. I don't think so and neither did he. I used the new stamp set, Lots of Bots for this card. I distressed the edges of the Bashful Blue card stock just to make it more, I don't know, masculine.

Altered Top Note

Hello Hivers,

Here is a card I made using the new In Colors. I used Crushed Curry card stock and Dusty Durango ribbon. The ribbon is polka dots on one side and plain on the other. I found this wonderful trick on cutting the Top Note Bigz Die to create this shape. I used the Bella Toile background stamp for my image. I colored it using the new In Colors and my Aqua Painter. All the images were layered on Basic Black card stock.
