My youngest son and I created this card for one of his classmates. He is in love with the Sponge that lives in a Pineapple. I got inspiration for this card from several places. I just made it my own. Of course, my son had to help me (a lot) with the specifics :-). I couldn't even begin to tell you what I used to create this punch art character. It was mostly trial and error. Mostly error on my part. LOL I do remember that I used the Butterfly punch for the tongue.
I am almost done catching up on late postings. I am busy decorating my new Crafting Hive. I will share photo's as soon as everything is complete. I am so excited.
Today's share is another from months ago. The idea came from Holly Krautkremer. Very simple project. I used Real Red and Very Vanilla card stock along with the Heart Treat Cups, Full Heart Punch, Heart to Heart punch, Word Window and the Modern Label punches.
I made this card for one of my sisters. It was quick and simple. I used the Take a Spin stamp set and attached the Game Spinner Hands to the top. I sponged on the colors (Florida Gator Fan). I tied some retired SAB ribbon around the bottom.
This Valentine goodie was inspired by another stamper. I can't find the original designer. Just know that I didn't come up with this one on my own.
My favorite part of this project is...No, not the candy....it is the Scalloped heart of Hearts Embosslits Die. I love the look and feel of it. I also used the Scalloped Square Bigz Clear Die.
OMG! I can't believe it has taken me so long to share this card. I made case'd this months ago. Dawn is such a great inspiration. I just love her work. You will see many projects that I copy and share. Click here to see the original. Thanks for buzzzing by the hive.
Here is another card I made months ago. I gave this card to my hubby for our 12th wedding anniversary. It is a case of Becky Roberts card. It uses the stamp set Nature Walk. I got this set when I attended Regionals in Orlando. I used the Newsprint DSP in the background. Enjoy your day.
Today's card is another CASE'd project. The design/layout for this card came from Lisa Hensley. I love this stamp set "The Open Sea". I love the DSP even more. I was sad to see them get retired. I made several of these cards back in June for all the men in my life. This was their Father's Day card. Yes, I know I am a bit behind in my posting. Sorry. As always, Thanks for Buzzzing by.
Here are a few 6 x 6 scrapbook pages I created. It is obviously for a baby girl. I used Nursery Nest Quick Accents and Nursery Nest DSP to design the layouts. The card stock colors I used are Basic Gray, Blushing Bride, Marina Mist, Perfect Plum(?), and Pear Pizzazz.
This card was made a while ago. I guess it got lost among the many photos on my computer. I cased the card made by Sandi MacIver. Enjoy your day and thanks for buzzzing by the Hive.
I want to start by wishing one of my favorite men in the world a
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
I LOVE YOU DADDY.
Today's card was inspired by a tag made by Julie Arvin. I sent this card to a friend that lives out of town. The card was very quick and simple to make.
I am really starting to fall in love with my Owl Punch. This little guy is so versatile. He can be dressed up for whatever occasion you need. I have told you all before that I am not that creative but I can copy just about anything. Well, this card is no exception. The original can be found on Maria Cameron's blog. Of course, I had to change the name on the card. The inside was done using MDS. I used the font called "handwriting" to look like I hand wrote the note inside.
OMG! Aren't these owls just the cutest? I seen this card on Darlene Davis's blog and just had to CASE it. I added window sheets to mine and used MDS (My Digital Studios) to make the sentiments. Thanks Darlene for such a wonderful and fun card.
I made these three projects for a friends baby shower. She wanted a box to put her thank you cards and gifts in. I made the lid for the box using the Scallop Circle and Clear Circle dies. The box itself is made from Melon Mambo card stock cut at 7.75 x 6.25". The thank you notes are 3 x 5.25 scored at 3". I used the two Tag Punches and attached a breast cancer awareness pin to it. She is also adding some chocolates to the box.

Today I am sharing a project made at Regionals. Yes, Regionals were a while back. I didn't make any of my "make & takes" at Regionals. I finally got around to putting this one together. I love it. it is hanging on my wall over my desk. The Petal Cone die was used to create this lovely banner.
I am just stopping in to say that I am so excited. I figured out how to watermark my photos on my Mac without using an outside application. Sometimes I get so excited by the little things in life. LIFE IS GOOD.
