I have seen these boxes everywhere. There are several tutorials out on Youtube and other blogs. I don't remember exactly which one I used for the larger of my boxes but the small box tutorial can be found HERE. I made the small box as a wedding favor sample. The larger one was made first, as a test run. I used a stack of 12"x12"designer paper that someone gave me. It was very thick, great for boxes.
Pootles has struck again. I just love her blog. I get inspiration from several of my fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators.
I don't remember the name of the DSP that I used, but I know that it is retired. The sentiment came from the Hostess only set, Hello There and the flower is from the Petite Petals stamp set.
Yes, this is another wedding favor sample. I seen this box on Pinterest and just had to make it. I love the size...the candy of choice fits perfectly inside. I think this would look good made with Whisper White card stock and decorated with the Gold Foil paper and Early Espresso card stock...you know, to match the candy.
I love making 3D projects. Here is a pouch that holds a Ghirardelli chocolate square. I found the instructions from a pin on Pinterest. It is very simple to make. I used the Moonlight Designer Series Paper stack with coordinating ribbon.
Okay, I know I shared a similar card like this about two weeks or so ago. But, I thought I may as well do a total CASE of Dawn's card. Of course, as always, I made minor changes. I really need to use up my stash of Designer Series Paper. I am a bit of a hoarder.
These cute little Candy Bibles were made for Easter. They were so quick and easy. These can easily be made into any type of book you would like. You can make them whatever color you want, round the corners or not and label them with whatever title you want.
Until next time....Buzzz you later,
Honeybee
cut card stock: 2-3/4" x 1-1/2" score in on both ends of long side at 1-1/8" to create the spine.
Today is a very special day in my house. My husband and I are celebrating our 16th Wedding Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary, Babe...Love you much.
Now on to today's project. This is a cute little box that I made as sample for my friend. Yes, I have made a lot of samples. LOL I really like the size of this box. The idea came from Sam, over at Pootles.co.uk.
I have been busy making wedding favor samples for a couple of people. Here is a small box that I put together using their colors...Basic Gray and Cherry Cobbler. I embossed the butterfly from Papillon Potpourri and punched it out using the coordinating punch, Elegant Butterfly. I used the candies I had on hand just to show the size of the box.

I found this project hiding amongst my older pictures. I forgot to post it during February. My daughter and I designed this for her teacher. It's just a simple hinge box with a belly band. We filled it with goodies and decorated it using the Hey, Valentine stamp set and the Park Lane Designer Series Paper.

I have seen this box all over the crafting world. I finally decided to have a go at it. I used some happy Daffodil Delight card stock to coordinate with the Sweet Taffy DSP.
Oh, about the title of my post...this box stays closed all by itself, no help needed.
This is another CASE from Brandy's Cards. I just love the Lotus Blossom stamp set. I was sad to see SAB end. As always, I made minor changes to my card to make it my own.
We are less than a month away from the current Catalog becoming retired. I have so much Designer Series Paper that I haven't used yet. I needed some ideas that would help me use it up...so I went on the hunt through my favorite places to buzzz around. I landed on Dawn G. website. I made minor changes to my card to make it more masculine and for a birthday. It definitely uses up some Sweet Taffy DSP.
This is a quick and easy wedding favor that I made for a friend. I used Pool Party and Elegant Eggplant card stock on this project. All you need is a piece of card stock cut at 2.75" x 6.5" and "bend" it over the chocolate square. I stapled mine shut and covered it with embellishments. This is another Pinterest find.
Side Note:HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY, MOOKIE MOOK!!! (my niece)
