Hello Hivers,
During teacher appreciation week last year, they asked that we give the teachers flowers. Well, I made this wonderfully cute flower box. I used all her favorite colors.
I found the tutorial on Pinterest for the flower box.

A Fun Fold Wedding and a Tag
Hello Hivers,
This is the card I made for one of my dearest friends daughter. She got married yesterday and it was beautiful.
Since I designed her wedding invitation, I knew the wedding colors. I have been sharing samples of wedding favors for a while now that I designed with this wedding in mind.
I only used one stamp set to create this Fun Fold Card. The stamp set is called: For the New Two. I just love it.
I used Elegant Eggplant, Very Vanilla, Pool Party, and Brushed Silver card stock. I stamped all the images using Blackberry Bliss ink. I added a pop of color with the Pool Party Stampin' Write Marker, Basic Rhinestone Jewels, Bitty Butterfly, and the Elegant Butterfly punches.
Below is the matching Gift Tag I made using all the same supplies, just adding the Scalloped Tag Topper punch.

Paper Pumpkin is Going PINK!!
Hello Hivers,
Just for the month of October, the Paper Pumpkin boxes will come in Fight Against Breast Cancer PINK.
More About BCRF
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) advances the world's most promising research to eradicate breast cancer. Founded by Evelyn H. Lauder in 1993, BCRF has raised more than $550 million to fuel discoveries in tumor biology, genetics, prevention, treatment, survivorship and metastasis, making it one of the largest non-governmental funders of breast cancer research in the world. This year BCRF has invested $58.6 million in research, to support over 235 researchers at leading medical institutions across six continents, including $11.6 million to the international Evelyn H. Lauder Founder's Fund focused on metastasis. By spending 91 cents of every dollar on research and public awareness programs, BCRF remains one of the nation's most fiscally responsible nonprofits. BCRF is the only breast cancer organization with an "A+" from CharityWatch, and has been awarded Charity Navigator's highest rating of four stars 13 times since 2002. For more information, please visit: www.bcrfcure.org.

Teacher Appreciation
Hello Hivers,
This is the card I designed for my daughters 3rd grade teacher (last year). We gave her a week of gifts and this card was included with the first gift. I used the Friendly Wishes stamp set for the sentiment and to decorate the inside of the card. The Cherry On Top DSP Stack added all the wonderful colors that this card needed.

Watercolored? Birthday
Hello Hivers,
Okay, Okay. I tried my hand at watercoloring. Oh, boy. I had to change up my technique because it was not working for me. I love the colors on this card just not the coloring. I think it is still a beautiful card, despite my error of trying to watercolor on NON watercolor paper.
I used the stamp sets: Wetlands and Regarding Dahlias along with Gold Embossing Powder

Back to Black Purse
Hello Hivers,
I love making purses/bags to use when I'm giving gifts. I viewed a video tutorial over at papercraftbutton.blogspot.com
(which, by the way, is where I seen the tutorial for the Long Grad Wallet I shared 2 weeks ago).
I used some Back to Black DSP (retired) and Basic Black card stock to create this purse. I just love how it turned out. You could easily substitute the DSP I used for the current Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper.

Sunshine Bag
Hello Hivers,
This bag was designed using a tutorial I found on Pinterest. I added a little pocket on the outside that can hold a gift card or a small note card. I wanted to do something different with the closure, and it took me a long time to decide on using these brads. And wouldn't you know it, I'm still not satisfied in the way it turned out. Sometimes things look different in my head.

Happy Butterfly
Hello Hivers,
These two cards were created with my favorite technique. Sponging backgrounds. I heat embossed the Swallowtail on the first card with Black and the other with Gold Embossing Powder.
The sentiment came from the Wetlands stamp set. I named this post because of the colors (which I can't remember what I used). These colors just make me think "Happy".
