We didn’t come up with World Card Making Day, but we are thrilled that it’s a thing! It’s a day dedicated to doing what you love most—making handmade cards! It celebrates the creativity and personal connection handmade cards create between loved ones, and it’s a great time for you to make your own cards to send to your family and friends.
This year the world celebrates the day on October 7, but one day wasn’t enough for us. For ten days (October 1–10), you get 15% off Notecards & Envelopes and select stamp sets. These items will help you celebrate the best hobby of all—cardmaking!
The Paper Pumpkin team is always tracking products that make our customers happy and (no surprise!) holiday kits are a huge favorite. Knowing this, they decided to create a simple and fun holiday crafting experience as the perfect way to streamline Christmas prep.
Welcome to a Season of Style!
To give you more of what you love, during October and November we’re offering two straight months of perfectly coordinated Christmas cardmaking and gifting projects.
The Benefits:
Two coordinating kits means that 1) you will have everything you need to complete unique holiday cards and gifts, 2) you will have more creative options, and 3) you can get that handmade holiday touch without the fuss.
Watch this video from the Stampin' Up! home office for more information.
The Details:
* Remember, the October and November kits coordinate but they also stand alone. You DO NOT need both kits to create a complete project.
* To receive October’s kit, customers must subscribe at paperpumpkin.com by 11:50 PM (MT) on October 10.
* To receive November’s kit, customers must subscribe at paperpumpkin.com by 11:50 PM (MT) on November 10.

Hello Hivers, Okay. This card just makes me happy. The bright colors in the DSP are just gorgeous. I used Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry to create the flower on the Stitched Circle and I added a Gold Faceted Gem for some sparkle. Oh, did you notice the little swirly doodad on top of the Burlap ribbon? That came from the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits dies.
As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today. Until next time....Buzzz you later.
Hello Hivers, Today I decided to use a couple of the items in the Painted Autumn Suite. Here I have used the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the Painted Harvest stamp set. The color combination for the flower is Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie. The middle is stamped in Soft Suede ink. I don't know which card I prefer best...the Cajun Craze base or the Soft Suede base. I think I am leaning towards the Cajun Craze.

Hello Hivers,
I am in LOVE. This is my first card using the Painted Harvest stamp set. I've been waiting to use it....why?! I don't even know. I will be sharing my creations with this stamp set all week. I really like the color combination I used on this card. And the Glitter Enamel Dots just adds that pop this card needed. Inks, Cardstock, and Ribbon: Berry Burst, Flirty Flamingo, Smokey Slate, and Whisper White

Hello Hivers, I decided to make a little box to hold some coffee flavored candy. I found the tutorial on Pinterest for the box. I can't remember who the originator is. I used the Coffee Break Suite of products to decorate with. I added one element from the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits.

Hello Hivers,
Today is a very special day for me. I am celebrating my 10 Year Anniversary as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I am so excited in reaching this milestone. I hope to have many more years as a SU! Demonstrator. With your continued support of my business, this will be possible.

Hello Hivers, I went on a candy shopping spree just so that I could make some projects. I will NOT be eating this chocolate. Nope. I won't. LOL Don't you just love the little witches hat over the sentiment? It is the cutest. It was cut out of one of the sheets of DSP.

Hello Hivers,
I have really been pushing myself out of my comfort zone. I signed up to participate in a 2017 Holiday Catalog Pre-Order Demonstrator Only Card Swap. At first I committed to just making 11 cards of one design. But then, for some unknown reason, I went back and signed up for 2 more designs (11 of each design). I was very nervous. You have to make original designs....and you all know that I am the queen of CASEing. But I knew that I could do at least one...but three? Boy, oh boy. I found that my Creative Mojo works great under pressure. I love all three designs I came up with. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think. I would really appreciate the feed back.
As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today. Until next time....Buzzz you later. Honeybee
Hello Hivers,
This is another look at the Count My Blessings stamp set from the 2017 Holiday Catalog. This card was inspired by a card that I made for a Demonstrator Only Swap. I will be sharing those cards with you tomorrow. Enjoy your day. As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today. Until next time....Buzzz you later.
Hello Hivers,
Welcome to another Stampers By The Dozen Blog Hop. This month we are focusing on Trees and Leaves. I am focusing my projects on the Color Theory Suite in the Annual Catalog. I made 3 cards and a "Thirty-One" bag for them to go in. I found a tutorial on Pinterest by Deb V. on how to put the bag together.
Leave a comment...let me know what you think. Hop on over to Carly's blog. She is up next in the Blog Hop.
Hello Hivers, Just a quick post today. I finally got around to using the products in the Coffee Break Suite (pgs. 30-31). I made a cute card. I love the way it turned out. Leave a comment and let me know what your thoughts are on this friendship card.

Hello Hivers, How are you loving the new 2017 Holiday Catalog? Isn't it great!? I am having a ball making all sorts of things with all my goodies. Today I am sharing a treat pouch that I put together using the Spooky Cat stamp set and the Spooky Night DSP. The pouch holds about 7 of the Pixy Stix. I cut a window in the pouch using the Everyday Label Punch and added a small piece of Window Sheet. The sentiment was cut out using the Wood Crate Framelits.
Side Note: The Halloween Night Baker's Twine I used is retired. As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today. Until next time....Buzzz you later.
Hello Hivers,
I am sharing a gift I gave my daughter. Yesterday was her 12th birthday. I bought a pocket calendar from Target and personalized it for her. The name stamp is a retired Stampin' Up! stamp. I used some elements from the August 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit to decorate the calendar. I also used the Wood Words stamp set and embossed it in Gold. I am showing photos of the front and back of the calendar. My daughter really loved her gift. I am happy she did. Oh, and all the embellishments will stay on safely because I added the plastic sleeve back on to the calendar when I was finished.
As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today. Until next time....Buzzz you later.

Hello Hivers,
I have finally gotten around to making a card using the Celebrations Duo Embossing Folder. I don't have the coordinating stamp set, so I used the Lovely Inside & Out set to finish this card off with some fun colors. As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today. Until next time....Buzzz you later.
Hello Hivers,
I am loving this card layout. As you can see, I have used it for a few cards now. I just change a few things around. I am really liking this color combination...Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, and Night of Navy. They are so rich and vibrant. And OMG! Look how happy that little piggy looks. Just adorable. As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today. Until next time....Buzzz you later.
Hello Hivers,
Happy Labor Day. Today I am sharing a Christmas card. I made this with the Wishes All Aglow stamp set. It can be found in the new Holiday Catalog. I paired it with the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper. I colored some Rhinestone Jewels with Sharpies to add a little bling. I also added the Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers along the bottom edge of the sentiment. As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today. Until next time....Buzzz you later.
