Hello Hivers,
I decided to update my Memories & More Storage Box. I wanted to use some of the new Designer Series Paper in the Annual Catalog. I am in love with the Nature's Poem DSP. I added a lid to this box and I am sharing the instructions for that as well. You can view my previous post HERE.
You can fit 5 of the Memories & More Card Packs in the storage box. I cut the front of the packaging and write the coordinating colors on it and slide it in the storage box behind all the cards in the pack. That way I will have the name and colors available without having to write on my dividers.
You will see in the instructions that I have decorated the back of my box. Some might think this is not necessary, but it is more for sturdiness than looks. So I would definitely recommend adding the decorated back panel.
Instructions:
Decorate Storage Box:
Front: 6" x 2.75" (cardstock) 5.75" x 2.5" (DSP)
Back: 6" x 4" (cardstock) 5.75" x 3.75" (DSP)
Sides: 4" x 2.5" (cardstock x 2) Measure up from bottom 2.75" and make a mark. Cut at angle from mark to opposite corner. Repeat on second peice but on opposite side to get matching angles for the sides of the box.
Sides: 3.75" x 2.25" (DSP x 2) Measure up from bottom 2.5" and make a mark. Cut at angle from mark to opposite corner (1/4" down from top). Repeat on second peice but on opposite side to get matching angles for the sides of the box.
You may wish to cut the four outside flaps in half for a better fit (this will reduce thickness of the ends of lid).
Decorate Lid:
Top: 2.5" x 6" (cardstock) 2.25" x 5.75" (DSP)
Front & Back: 1.75" x 6" (cardstock x 2) 1.5" x 5.75" (DSP x 2)
Sides: 1.75" x 2.5" (cardstock x 2) 1.5" x 2.25" (DSP x 2)
File Dividers:
6-1/8" x 4.5" (Basic Gray x 4)
Place on Envelope Punch Board at 2" and punch. Place on trimmer at 4-1/8" and cutt off edge along the top.
5-7/8" x 4.25" (Mint Macaron x 4)
Place on Envelope Punch Board at 1-7/8" and punch. Place on trimmer at 3-7/8" and cutt off edge along the top.
5-5/8" x 3-5/8" (DSP x 4)
As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today.
Until next time....Buzzz you later.
